Take some time this Season with a little one-on-one to relax before the holiday rush really sets in.
So many times we prepare entertainment settings for guest, family and friends which is awesome but I love to tap into quiet moments for a party of two. For you and hubby, best friend, Mom, sister, brother, daughter or son. Any person who is dear to your heart. Sometimes heart-to-heart, one-on-one is much-needed and appreciated.
I am truly inspired by those who have the creative talent in the art of tablescaping. It’s not my forte but I love to indulge. :-)!
This “Table for two – Intimate settings” is for sushi lovers. I decided on an alfresco setting to enjoy the FL weather. Here are some of the items I gathered. Simple, sweet and budget friendly.
Tablecloth in a tropical print by Tommy Bahama
Centerpiece: A DIY effort to create the illusion of a meditation water garden.. 🙂 (hmmmmm???)
Japanese garden lantern
Sushi set: Dragon fly on cobalt blue and steel chopsticks Japanese soup and rice bowls Sake set
Fabric prints that mix and match. The napkins are made with the same fabric use on the bar cart shown here.
Now it’s time for sushi. It turned out to be a very calm setting. The candles made the evening more enjoyable.
Hope you visit again for the next “Table for Two-Intimate Settings”
Remember, giving someone your time can be the greatest gift of all.
Thanks for stopping by. Enjoy your day!
