Tropical Tablescape for Two

If you can’t go to a tropical island, bring the tropical island to you….A staycation tropical get-away in your own back yard.

Awww ….Now this is my dream tropical back yard. (pictures courtesy of google) Another Tropical dream garden tucked away from the world.

Ok back to my reality….. So staying home this holiday ain’t all bad when a tropical setting on the patio was just waiting to be explored. So here it goes…a cozy tropical tablescape in the making.

I started out with a bamboo mat.  Cut and made into a table runner and two placemats. No problem for the runner but for the placemats I had to cut a shorter length and secure each end of the ties with a dab of hot glue.

I love decorating with silver but for this tablescape gold accents were the perfect choice.

Welcome to our Patio….A Tropical Tablescape for Two

Brass candelabra received a little golden facelift

Glass palm tree wine glasses. Gold plastic water goblets and vase

The melamine salad and dinner plates are my old time favs by Certified International called Key West.  The DIY napkins and napkin rings resurfaced from a previous T-4-2 (Table for Two)

I don’t know why gold rocks landed on the table???????? The handy candle snuffer may not be needed because

I love to see the way candles burn forming their own art 🙂

The Tommy Bahama fabric pillows makes sitting comfy and cozy

Ahhh, Just thinking of a tropical get-away relaxes me as we sip, have lunch and dream while listening to the music of Caribbean steal drums……

A staycation or vacation, near or far I hope you enjoy your holiday!  Until next time…..
